His Self Made Movie

His Self Made Movie

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

remember your lines & mark

"

Before he gathered himself he scattered across continents,

When his self proclaimed moorings attached themselves

he felt the freedom of capture,

flying passed all known and unknown worlds

he thanked discipline for leading him to the expanse,

the expanse of time, place, person, wonder, adventure,

now in the gateway of his own dream

he walked in transcendence of the forthcoming scene.

I'm headed for the road next year. I might do Iceland in October (increase chances of Northern Lights), possibly drift over to France, see my uncle's gave site, then see friends in Croatia. 2 two week vacations, plus on the road with camper, camera and dogs.

Thanks Jacob!

i like the idea here of how discipline can lead to new worlds, and how there is a certain freedom to staying with boundaries...choice of adventures, of people, of places...consciously we will transcend..
and life will embrace us as we do it.
