Camping Notes

I return to the scene of a leaf
colored in autumn,
offering beauty in its demise
a stillness from it's fall lasting a lifetime of mine
What language here is calling
that I might find a secret in thee
to say a word of kindness
that you may return to me
in a greenness made of sunshine
in a shade that protects the likes of me
in a moment such as this one
where leaf and I tell the world to see.

Thanks Ana!

It is a sweet poem, I like it too. Rhyming is for me is not the ultimate goal.

Regards,
Al
