it’s in the mail

it’s in the mail

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

check your mailboxes

"

it’s in the mail

would you consider him to be a human being
in the truest sense of the words?
he lingered a half century before answering
everyone had gone home waiting for the
answer in the mail.

These days we usually have advertisements and bills in the mail. Seems very few write "snail mail" anymore. I remember waiting by the mailbox to get letters from pen pals. Those were the days. Not sure to whom you are referring in this one though. Interesting. Lydi**

thanks Sami!

one is never quite sure what a human being on the fence brings to the mailbox. however, i don’t think it will be junk mail. ha ha!
