Our lives are like climbing a mountain

There are countless paths in which to take

Just like choices which you have to make,

And on reaching the summit you will find

The view is always the same.

Life is life. Living is living.

But how you live is up to you.

Hi Andrew. I believe we have drifted to that introspective state where musing makes sense and the answers are fleeting then gone. You started off so well, but for, drifted in the final two lines. Think you could strengthen them to maintain the tempt of this poem. Just a thought, as always, yours to do or . . . stick with the original. Hope you choose to empower the poem, alf

This one hits home! Great piece! But i definitely think the view can be different.. just my say though I understand its for the sake of the poem!
