How do you plead?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

You squashed a thought with perks
That messed the paper, travelled
Never to be retrieved, lost.
Illegible now it is!
"How do you plead?"
"Guilty! Your Honour."
The evidence brought 
Before the court
Of thoughts. Guilty!
"Vanquished you are!"
" For your crimes against thoughts with perks."
" Off with your head!" Asks the Crown.
The audiences of thoughts applauded
Not knowing the full consequences.
After the sentence, silence
Not a thought was heard, entertained.
But a head did roll!
And with it, t.......
