The dream of consequence.

The dream of consequence.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I cannot remember
whether this tale is true,
unfortunately,
I cannot read it,
for its not written yet.
The image, the idea
clings to me
through a part
of my childhood.
I may have dreamt it
before I could talk,
or told  to myself
before I could read.
Or I read it before
I could remember.
Maybe it happened
before I was born.
I can't remember,
it was just a thought,
a memory that wanders
the realms of ....
"I've been there before."

no wonder life often seems like Deja Vu....
history repeats itself, and our lives seem to do that quite often,as well.

Yes especially making the same mistakes, would make history repeating itself. Thanks Jacob
It's as good an explanation of deja vu as I've read yet A.M.
In fact it's better than most - certainly more lyrical.
I like this subject very much and could go on and on but I'm gonna stop now in case I do.
