Did your shadow sleep?

Did your shadow sleep?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the silence of your shadow
I creep
blanketed in the coolness
of your darkness
I don't wish to wake.

Only I hear
my thoughts creak
wandering around you
following in your invisible footsteps
I'm lead....lost
in your space.
