It’s open!

It’s open!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

If the door is opened
Is one invited in?
Or is it trouble
in the making.
Does the door creak
or will the attached bell ring.
Will the floor boards warp
breaking the silence
on entering?
And what if there is
no answer to your
“ Hello! Is anyone home?”

I like it! Its short but says a lot. It makes you really think. " What if there is no answer to your Hello is anyone home." Nice writing!
