To walk a crooked mile!

To walk a crooked mile!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

A pocket full of trouble
does not become
a pocket full of gain
in the interest.

The reeling cost of dividends
when gold bars turn to iron
where life beats inflation.

"To walk a crooked mile!"
andrew mitchell,
Your opening line speaks of the root of the disease: "A pocket full of trouble" Trouble has already moved from its intiation from... say, for instance a bad choice or thought. Life is not created from nothing. Our choice cannot be wiped away by wishing it so. But it is not impossible to make changes. Not easy or simple many times because habits are created in life process as well. No matter. We people are capable of great flexibility and can start over, at least within our own thinking. Apologies made, life habits changed, eventually softening of hearts. Etc and etc. But yes with time if no counseling is sought or efforts made which is true work many times or always...."where life beats inflation."
Amazing poem! I loved this one. I hope I didn't analyze too much. My brain started smoking on this one.
Blessings,
Kathy
