No longer tethered.

No longer tethered.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Memories were
no longer tethered
by the mind,
dislocated from the cranial spine
pages of memories were set loose
to flutter free in a world of forgetfulness
never to be returned in truth
leaving a cold hardcover,
and past moments yellow In discolouration
around the living edges.
