There was always two sides
to a tender trap,
the smooth, the polished,
the rough, the uncut,
and the balance between....?
She who turns
the lapidary wheel
will make her
fortune.

Love your play on words regarding rocks & jewels. You remind me of a little rock-polishing I did in my younger days (forgot all about that!) I love the explanation of contrasting sides . . . so pertinent to human nature & life (((HUGS))) fondly, Margie
