A road to nowhere is not a road at all.

A road to nowhere is not a road at all.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Man has always needed
a road,
a path,
a trail.
For man has always needed
direction,
and so a road
to nowhere
is not a road at all.
From the beginning
Man has always journeyed,
never stopping
in the search for an end.

So I give you
The End.

See you’ve stopped now.

It’s all about direction,
direction, directing,
the director, the road signs,
the direction, and
an end!

that last stanza is so telling....can we find our own way? do we know when to continue? when to stop?
or do we need to be led...
if we can't drive down our own path, make our own decisions...we should get off at the next rest stop and stay there.
