A day in his sandals!

A day in his sandals!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

God are you there?
Can you hear me?
Yes my son I am here.

God can I ask a favour?
Let’s hear it my son!
I was wondering if I could
have a day being you?

Did I hear correctly
you want to be me for a day?
Yes I just need a day!
And the purpose for such an occasion?

I’ve met a beautiful woman
and I just want to love her to pieces,
wink, wink, say no more.

I see ! So what day did you have
in mind my son?

Groundhog Day God!
Groundhog Day!
