Daydreamer

Daydreamer

A Poem by Avocations of Amber
"

This is dedicated to my son, Jason......my dreamer.......

"

Beautiful dreamer

sing me a song

tell me your dreams if you please

You see the world

with the rose-colored lens

you linger in dreamland with ease

Who do you stare at

looking out there

to the house of the keeper of stars

Your mind floats away

upon butterfly wings

to a time and a place from afar

Beautiful dreamer

your vacated eyes

do allege that your soul is away

To think for a while

in fantastic realms

where the dreams of the dreamer do stay

Good to be a dreamer. The best of the people who dreamed of peace were the great dreamers. I like the description. Need more dreamers of hope and happiness. Could be a better world. Thank you for the excellent poem.

What a beautiful world created in the minds of dreamers. There is so much that floats around us, and here you bring alive one who transcends the pain of the world to drift through visions of anywhere.
