paper moon

paper moon

A Poem by aminorchord
"

the moon tonight was beautiful, it made me feel abstract

"

stars gleam like chips of marble inside a heart of stone,

a paper moon lies on the ground abandoned by the sky, alone.

he looks up to the void, with longing in his parchment eyes,

he says "i love you more then i know how"

but his voice fades and dies.

a gust of wind is his only reply.

the void stares back with it's cold empty eyes,

the wind keeps on blowing, and the moon floats away,

on the waves of the wind he will ride, forever.

well and good if the work is in progress buddy, but this poem in itself is complete!! very well woven! nice read.. the best poem of a kind, according to me is, when every line individually can be a complete poem.........its a far away dream, for me at least.. but i guess you are close.. coz here, the last two lines makes a poem in itself..

"he says: 'i love you more then i know how'
but his voice fades and dies.. "

awesome work... do post in the whole of it, when you are done...

Smiles,
Krishna
