stone harbor soup

aquatic ingredients:

1 native stone harbor crab (lady or ghost)

3 mole crabs

8 assorted dolphins

4 assorted large sharks

1 sand shark

1 each deceased horseshoe crab and moon jellyfish

1 large sea snail in conch shell

coquina clams to taste

 

non-aquatic ingredients:

5 white cranes (can substitute 5 white herons)

1 piping plover chick

1 dozen fowler's toads

other native birds to taste (common tern, laughing gull, least tern, sanderling, etc.)

 

other ingredients:

atlantic salt water

jersey short sand

 

preheat beach to mid-90s.  mix non-aquatic ingredients.  set aside.  churn water over sand.  add aquatic ingredients.  continue to churn.  slowly add non-aquatic ingredients over 1 week.  churn to desired texture.  can be served hot or cold.

 

serves 5.
