Tasting ChocolateA Poem by Annie N.A poem I wrote on the spot, this is inspired from the memories of a 65 year old lady I met while waiting in line at a store.65 years ago, I knew the taste of chocolate. The taste of bittersweet almonds. 65 years ago, I could still taste the cocoa. And the froth gliding on the tip of my tongue. I can still remember the milky taste, Faded away, Like all of my memories. I can still remember the first time I kissed you, When I first knew the taste of chocolate. © 2010 Annie N.Author's Note
