Grey Days

Grey Days

A Poem by Emmy

He craves dreary days filled with grey,
but I abhor the rain.
The days spent hidden from the sky
are tragic in my mind.
All colors drained from daily life,
for beauty melts in rain.
Unconvinced he, denies my claims,
he needs these days.

Only lack of light lets people hope
to see the sun return.
This is why he adores grey days,
still I abhor the rain.
