The Last Chat

The Last Chat

A Poem by St.Jimmy

Here's the second one!!!! hoping for some good reviews

"
I can still remember that last chat
between you and me
Cause we'd never met after that
Could we?
It was neither too large nor too brief
Was just a 20-25 minute chat
But it put my whole life into an endless grief
Now it's too late and i can't do anything except cursing that
Cause my life is now like a dried leaf

It was the first time when I was getting that innocent feeling
Which I was hesitating to say
I think you could also feel the same thing
But we both were feeling shy to say
You suddenly opened your mouth and gave me the worst news of my life
Which took my breath away
You were going to be somebody else's wife
Your marriage was been set by your parents on Sunday
I felt like my heart was being cut into the small pieces by a knife
I felt like that I was drowning into the deepest bay
And couldn't get out of it even after a tough strive
When you were walking away
I could feel your hazel eyes in pain
But I couldn't stop you anyway
And  led my whole life crying in vain
But I can still remember that last chat
between you and me
Cause we'd never met after that
Could we?

Nice job Aaradhya..I think you should write a few more lines about how that girl was...what u felt about her...and then the parting scene would bring out the pain in this poem. The choice of words is very good. should work a bit more on the rhyming part though. Hey! aaradhya pls don't mind my words...i myself am learning...am no poet myself. take care. keep writing. :)
