Cold and insensitive

Cold and insensitive

A Poem by Rida Sarwar

They say I'm cold and insensitive
won't you be such if you were in my shoes?
Watch everyone turning their back on you
feel the sand losing from your hand
hear the words that'll haunt you around

do you hear those deep breaths that I take?
Can you feel when I'm unable to breathe nd gasp for air?
Do you taste the tears as they roll down and enter ur lips?
do you taste the pain that rages every night?
Do you fight for life like I do!?

If u don't then how do you dare look back at me and call me cold?
I'm insensitive because I'm tired of ending in pain
I'm cold because no choice was ever left..
