Fear Tosses You Right Over the Edge

Fear Tosses You Right Over the Edge

A Poem by BLBrown

Fear is the one in charge, fear is the boss.

Fear squeezes you, 'til it deepens your loss.

Fear is of the dark, and too of the cold.

Fear captures you, taking part of your soul.

Of fear, you must ask permission.

For fear, it demands submission.

Fear seeps in your mind, fear demands you cringe.

Fear leads you on, 'til it makes you unhinge.

Fear sees you hide in dark, living undone.

Fear laughs loud, at what you can't “overcome.”

Of fear, there is no condition.

For fear, there is no omission.

Fear breeds such discord, even with the brave.

Fear can be found, in most faithful of knaves.

Fear is a fiend, pushing you to the ledge.

Fear then tosses you, right over the edge.

Of fear, there is no remission.

For fear holds a powerful position.
