ode to kali

ode to kali

A Poem by boston house kitten

she washed herself with vinegar
to bleach away the stain.
she washed herself with vinegar
she washed away the pain.
she washed away the loneliness
washed till everythings the same.
washed away the tears
and everyone to blame.

she couched her self in viciousness
and vicious became her name.
she lusted after bitterness
and fell in love with pain.
she couched herself in righteousness,
revenge becomes the game.
shes a ghost upon your consciousness,
a cold wind upon the plain.

she payed it forward from behind
too early it was late,
and if u whisper "i dont mind"
she'll swear that your prostate.
she washed herself with vinegar
deep within the  scars,
dressed herself in bitterness
and blew out all the stars.

she ate the world and all its hate
in one single chew,
on on this spur without deliberate
devoured the universe too
till all twas left in time and space
is a broken memory of you.

she built a world of memories
bitter memories of you
and bowed the world to compensate -
the debt to her twas due
she cleansed her self in visciousness
and vicious was her name.
