love within a dance

i look toward the sunset,

thinking of you,

wishing you were here by my side,

so you can watch the sunset with me too,

i want you here,

to be here and to hold me tight,

to watch the moon come out,

at the highest peak of the night,

thinking of this makes me smile,

it makes my heart pound,

my heart may be broken,

but it still has hope within the pounding sound,

i wish and dream,

but i never stop dreaming of chance,

even if my heart's broken,

i still want to fall in love within a dance.

I've actually fallen in love within a dance once upon a time..
It was a very magical experience.
This poem takes me back to that and watching the sunset on a lovely day.
