He Leaves

With a tear stained complexion she watched him leave. The love of her life, heading straight out the door. But she was trapped, she had no where to run anymore. Her previous life had finally caught up with her. Everybody wanted to see her dead, except for him.

He was a protector, a knight of sorts. He loved her too much for this world. But he couldn't stay, it would've been to difficult. He remained emotionless as he closed the door. He could hear her screams and cries for him to stay. The whole hall could hear her, but he listened to her. The whole world knew who she was. The young woman was infamous, she had committed so many horrible acts. Nobody knew how he had loved her so much, nobody should be able to love somebody so terrible
