we Lived

we Lived

A Poem by Not Afraid of Bruises

An ache between us, the echo of the spaces
We never acknowledge, the
Long halls and corridors that rest, ancient in age –
They only stir when provoked.

Let's provoke them,
Shake youth into their timbers and
Life into their song,
Let us fail brilliantly at everything and live
Joyful in the fact that we,
We lived.

Mystical, and very well described. I like it, it had a bit of mystery added to it, it made my mind wonder into unknown places... agian. Thanks for sharing.
