Smile

A smile hides the broken one's declaration
Behind it lie the pieces of a vessel shattered by misery
The suffering fails to cease
Despite the broken one's constant decree

It is a lie to others as reality settles in
This life will never be of stability
And though the blade is silenced
A slice of serenity is forever out of reach

It disguises the vessel as a beacon of hope
Through the darkness that beckons near
But as the dim light drains
All that's left inside is pain

This poem is very explained and loveful . "Though the darkness that beckons near" For some crazy reason that line made me love the poem even more ;)
