Enough

It isn't enough.

If I took

Everything I am

Would it ever be

Enough?

 

I can't accept this.

How can my life be

Over

Before it's even

Begun?

 

I reach into my future,

Strain to see ahead,

And find nothing

But a cavern

Of inadequacy.

 

 

This is not enough.

 

I am not enough.
