Stay Forever Stay

Stay Forever Stay

A Poem by Christopher Jaremy
"

A poem about first love

"
Once your hand touched mine,
my heart bestowed a tingle
Your breath caressed my cheek
and, At last, my favorite jingle
For as I sat there yearning
Within your incandescent glee
To what do I owe this pleasure,
Your heart for eternity
What have I done so deserving
for an angel from above?
A whisper came with a smile
You gave to me your love
Your love so warm and serving
how can I ever repay?
Digging down into the earth
As if to give it birth
I spelled three little words
Stay forever stay
