The pen, whole day I gnaw

Author's Note

I was excited because I finally decided to try my luck into writing a novel. I actually had the entire story in my mind. But when I tried to write it down, I was completely dumbfounded when I found out that I have the story but I don't have the words.

The next day, I decided to write a children's story instead. It's about Colo, a frog, who believes that he was a prince before becoming a frog. But of course, he's a real frog and being a human is a fantasy he made by myself. Then in the end, I will add a moral lesson: You can dream high and big, but don't forget who you really are.

But then again, I wasn't able to write it down. Reason? I ran out of words.

Holy~ it's so devastating :(

Writers block can happen to anyone. Writing a novel or writing a poem or short story are different disciplines. A poem or short story are akin to running the 100 and 3000 metres, whereas the novel is the marathon. You train in different ways for all three. Nice piece though and very poignant. One piece of advice never write to write, write to express.

An interesting and original poem. These kinds of stories are hard to find nowadays.
