sweet kisses

sweet kisses

A Poem by Cocoacandy

Sweet kisses I receive,
From his warm lips,
Given out of love,
Coming unexpectedly,
Surprising me wonderfully.

Each and every time,
In my knees I get weak….
Knowing not of the next,
I’m quiet, do not speak,
For to break the silence
Would halt the kisses…

When he finally must leave,
I hate to see him go,
But I know soon,
My angel shall return,
He shall bring
His handsome kisses with him.

Whether they be long,
Or whether they be short,
It matter not to me,
If they come in length,
They bring wonder,
And if they come in short,
They disappear before too long,
Leaving me waiting
For his next sweet kiss.

A delightful write, shows the warmth
of what a kiss actually can accomplish.
Great imagery... Second stanza fifth line
"For the break the silence" doesn't seem
right.. Overall tho a sweet write!

A beautiful and positive poem. I like the kind words and positive feel in the love for another. Separation should create need. That is the sign of true love. A outstanding poem.
