The Blame Rests On Us

The Blame Rests On Us

A Poem by Andrew

They stole what we had
and said it was something else
they lied and you believed them
the blame rests on us.

?

You can't just
tell me
that I'm not
somebody
You can't just
say that
because of who you think I am and what I never said
that suddenly I'm trapped inside a maze that never ends.

I am not your crucifix.

Seems to happen a lot, even around these parts. Especially distressing when you don't a voice and you're hung out to dry...well done.
