Veil

Veil

A Poem by C. Rose
"

Terzanelle form poem

"

The smoke drifts away

Journey to the heavens

The smoke drifts away

Crawling away so leaden

In the pale moonlight

Journey to the heavens

Lingering to catch my sight

It carves a message

In the pale moonlight

Single moment of passage

Now makes itself known

It carves a message

Within the heart is home

The connection flashes clear

Now makes itself known

Its voice I can hear

The smoke drifts away

The connection flashes clear

The smoke drifts away
