the first show

you grabbed my hand as
we walked,
and everything exploded.
i saw colors ;
blues, greens, violets.
the world made sense.
I heard the universe calling to me,
"THIS ! THIS IS YOUR PERSON"
the stars exploded,
sending supernovas
and brilliance and love
across my dark sky.
you let go to pull me close,
and i burned.
i'm a star,
a planet,
my own galaxy.
even though you made me
bright,
i still become shady.
then you come back, and
i see more fireworks.
more light.
more colors.
more memories.
more love.
