DOVES AND LOVE

DOVES AND LOVE

A Poem by Danielle Calhoun

DOVES AND LOVE

Two white figures,
Across the blue sky fly,
One to one,
At each other’s side.

Two figures below,
Joined in both heart and soul,
Look to the sky,
As they watch,
These figures fly.

Lovers and friends
Together; through thick
And thin

Two married souls,
Forever together,
Their love has no end.

The dove is the symbol for peace and love. I like to see them near. I agree with your poem.
"Two married souls,
Forever together,
Their love has no end."
Thank you for the outstanding poem.
