End Of Forever

Inspired by the line "Forever Ends Tonight" from the Misfits song 'Descending Angels'. This is a poem about a Christian Armageddon.

Trumpets rang out

The battle ground is split in two

Her motherly beauty

Destruction inevitable 

Final battle of good and evil

About to begin

Earth won’t last another day

Forever Ends Tonight

~Earth

 

We chant and scream

We yell and holler

We’ll kill and slaughter

We are the demons

Of the hades

We are the souls

Of the damned

We are the angels

Of the Fallen

Thousands of us stand

In defiance of God

We are Legion

For We are many

Damned to Hell forever

Well no more

Live or die

Win or lose

Forever Ends Tonight

~Solider of Hell

 

Our blades in hand

Our shield at the ready

Our armor shining

Our battle cry echoes

Ours is the angels

Of the Heavens

Ours is the souls

Of the faithful

Ours is the Archangels

Of the legends

Thousands of us stand

In obedience to God

Our lives our his

For we are his

Enemies supposed to be

Damned forever

But no more

Vengeance

Will be mine

Locked away

Thousands of years

But now I’ve escaped

My eternal cell

I’m not alone

Others share my rage

Locked away

For eternity

No more

Destruction

Of all he holds dear

Our only path

Life or Death

Justice

Though the heavens

May fall

I stand at the head

Of my Lord’s army

Looking across

At the filth

Who dare defy

Their maker
