Lotus

Lotus

A Poem by S.F

Oh beautiful lotus
Daughter of beauty
Bloom and shine bright
Under the dancing  moon

Brim the rapturous air
With your odorous beauty
Send the twirling wind
To their homes happy

Sing the mesmeric melody
With the swinging trees
Dance to the music
Of the brushing leaves

Sleep beautiful lotus
Daughter of beauty
Fold your wings tight
Under the moon that shines.

Great array of words. I like the use of figuritive language. Awesome job. There was this softness that mixed in with something bright and happy but sad as well, it was just great. Keep it up, and I cant wait to read more....
