This poem is about my ex that I have trouble getting over .

I've made a lot of mistakes
And had a lot of heartbreaks
In my life
Wanting to be your wife
Someday
Maybe one day
But hey
Life goes on with or without you
I would eventually move on and be happy
Forgetting I ever loved you the way that I do
Or maybe did
I try to get rid
Of these unwanted feelings and memories
But as you can see
Its a bit of a struggle for me
I have to realize
That I can survive
And not mesmerize
Or even socialize
About or with you
I am just as strong as you
Pretending that your feelings for me are through
