Daisy Chains

Daisy Chains

A Poem by Emilia A
"

Just two poems I wrote with the same starting lines. I'm not quite sure why, but I thought I'd share.

"
Yet She Wanders
Daisy chains
mask her pain
as he hair blows in the wind.
The golden sun
has yet to come
and makes her whole again.

Nomadic is her way
she wanders on for days
no telling where she's been.
She see with her heart
sets the world apart
to her there is no where and when.

She flies like a dove
only stopping to love
finding interest in the nature of men.
She chooses to feel it all
despite many falls
only her soul knows the true end.

Garden of Her Mind
Daisy chains
mask her pain
as do all the roses.
The garden blooms
despite the gloom
happiness it proposes.

The petals soft
the smells they waft
as her mind dozes.
Blooms provide safety
she knows of their frailty
for harshness she opposes.

She walks away
to continue her day
first, her eyes she closes.
She breathes the air
says a prayer
"Thank you God for the daisies and roses".
