with this world I could not cope,

Thank you for being my strength

when I had lost all hope...

 

Thank you for protecting me

when I was lost in a world of sin,

Thank you for revealing

the beauty I have within.

Although I do not find any comfort in religion, I think it is a beautiful thing when other people can. This was a beautiful tribute to your beliefs. I especially liked the third stanza; most specially the last two lines. This piece was beautiful and almost perfect in its rhythm and flow.
