The doctor wheeled Arlene out to the car. “Let her rest for a while, she’s still weak,” he said. “Thanks, doc, will do,” replied her father, Hank. On the way home Hank ran his finger over her wrists, feeling the stitches, before moving to her thighs. Her whole body shuddered. He whispered, “I missed you.”

Wow, way to go on taking first place, and I must say you deserved it. This is a very powerful, shocking piece and creepy all in one. This is a stupendous piece of flash fiction.
