Strike when ready

Strike when ready

A Poem by Sincerely mine. Finally.

her gold dress shines beauty

wrapped like a caccoon

balance is a minor set back

as i try to cross the room

one more drink i think should do

i would be her protector

if i wasnt to drunk to stand

i would love and cherish her

but im to busy looking at her breasts

f**k....my....life...

im a monster

and she's stunning

and im stunned

where is my wingman?

he's just as drunk as i am

where is my game-plan?

it left the party early with "judgement"

i turn my back

as she exit's the room

so i pull up a stool

at the lonesome saloon

eight more drinks and im through

Been there and done that, a hard lesson to learn but well worth it in the long run. Nice write.

I really enjoyed the imagery you use through out this.
My favorite part though has to be
"f**k....my....life...
im a monster
and she's stunning
and im stunned

where is my wingman?
he's just as drunk as i am
where is my game-plan?
it left the party early with "judgment" "

Great read.
