A Simple Dream

A Simple Dream

A Poem by eatmills
"

Not everything I write about is tortured or mathmatic

"

The touch of our lips

The sweet smell of your perfume

Candle light in your eye

You seem like a dream

but this is reality.

As I make my move

You looked at me

And laugh.

Your figure fades into the air

I realize, I was wrong.

I was in a dream

But I don't care.

I awoke the next morning,

Suprised to find you at my door.

I ask you in

And you reply

"Come with me"

Like a puppy dog

I follow...

To a place of peace

and serenity.

A sweet dream. Nicely written. And who wouldn't want to follow another into a place of peace and serenity:)
