Cold

Cold

A Poem by emipoemi

The silence conjures up a sombre air

As frigid winds compel the world to freeze,

Afflicting all with shivers of unease,

For sounds are whispers with no words to share,

And ev’rything around is still as stone,

That when we walk about, we walk alone.

your very welcome

K.
Alright i get its supposed to be sad(and it is) but to me, its actaully kind of beatiful.
Its about that quit moment when you take a walk when no one is around but you in your thoughts.
The world is still the sounds quiet, just you.
As for what you meant. I think its about a inner lonelyness. Being around many but making no connections.
People talk but they are only whipsers to you. There are crowds but you shiver with unease as they get too close. The people might as well be stone since they want nothing to do with you, and when walking with them its as if you are walking alone.
Its short but powerful.
