The way you were.

The way you were.

A Poem by emodemon666

You hurt me, you helped me, you sometimes made me hate me.

I wish you wouldn’t have come here and made me see,

The terrible things that made me want to flee.

You made me want to be free.

Making him leave you was the key.

Most everyone would agree,

You acted like you hated me.

The energy you gave of was always eerie.

You are so greedy.

Every time I saw you, you had a new piece of jewelry.

You were so self-centered you changed your name to Pixie.

You made my life complete rainy.

You made my sister act so sadly.

You came in looking shiny.

I now act so strongly, all because,

You hurt me, you helped me, and sometimes made me hate me.

This is lovely. I love the rhymes that you had come up with when you wrote this.
