Wolf by Night

I want to live a double life.

A girl by day,

a wolf by night.

To feel the wind upon my fur, 

under the crescent moon,

as the foxes stir.

The owls and squirrels will cower in fear, just at my face. if it will appear.

To be free,

running through the night, 

to escape this cage,

that is my life.

Running by the trees,

as I please.

Sleeping peacefully during the day,

in my mind.
