Best Friend (Please Don't)

Best Friend (Please Don't)

A Poem by emodemon666

I'm so worried.
They didn't even give her a day to process.
CPS took her away from her mother the day they told her.
I'm tired of seeing her in pain.
I don't want to see her cry.
Her mother and her grandmother make her want to die.
It's not fair.
She didn't ask to be born.
She just was.
Sadly, she was born into the hands of a bad mom.
The drugs her mother did caused this.
There were other options,
but no judge cared.
She's now with her grandma who makes her sad and scared.
The blade cuts deep into my best friends wrist.
The suicidal thoughts never cease to exist.
It's hard knowing I'm one of the only reasons she's still here.
What would I do, if one day, she dissapeared.
I love her.
And I hate seeing her like this.
I hate her mother, her grandma, her brothers, the judge.
She's miserable with no way out.
She wants to die and I can't stop her,
no matter how much I love her.
