100 PERCENT ME!

A poem all about me and the kind of girl i am :) A little taste of cimmy for everyone :) Its straight out, honest and full of emotion just like me :) hope you all love it. Feedback much apresiated

I am loving 

i am kind, 

i will always

speak my mind.

i love to sing

i love to write, 

i love to stay up

late at night.

so straight out

honest as i can be, 

sometimes it gets me in s**t

but i love being me. 

I'm a very emotional person

this everybody knows,

and in my writing and words

it defiantly shows. 

so love me or hate me

think of me what you may,

just know in the end

i don't care what anyone may say. 

Ill always be unique

in each and every way. 

ill always be 100 percent me

and im here to stay.

This is the perfect type of writing to use as an introduction to readers of your poetry. And for this reason i have started reading your works from the beginning. To have a sense of who you are, your style and how it evolves over time.

A very refreshing poem. It is always important to remain true to yourself, no matter what anyone says or how much they may want you to change. Your personality is your own. It is who you are and your actions will define the light in which you are seen. The key is to be yourself and be responsible for your actions. That makes a person truly whole.

If words could actually describe a person, then people wouldn't have been bluffed.
If people were as transparent as they appeared, then words would have carried that truth.
This was my way of thinking regarding people..but your writing changed my perception.
Words could describe a person and people won't be bluffed. Your words have that transparency too..
I liked the words as well as the person inside it.
Everyone is unique and so you are.

Thank you. I was actually thinking of rewriting this all this stuff is true im still the same never changing, just think i might be able to make this better as i have improved in my writing so much since back then.

I think your message is crystal clear & even a teensy bit abrasive, with your defiant declaration about being yourself & not caring what other people think. Even tho I love this attitude & I applaud you for it, it still feels a little unbalanced overall. You start out by saying you're loving & kind, but then you immediately start getting "in your face" about how it's all "your way or the highway." Sometimes being loving & kind means dialing back the strong & independent ways we might actually be, when it's in the best interest of nurturing another person's needs. (I'm not saying you need to change your message, I'm just giving you my feedback to your message). I am exactly like you are expressing here, but a steady diet of "accept me or f**k off" can sometimes be counterproductive to relationships . . . as long as one is willing to accept that such an abrasive statement could push away people who are not as strong & who will not find it fun to try to stand up for themselves, in the face of such blatant confidence. I myself would rather live alone (which I have all my adult life) rather than stop being myself. But I still don't get in people's faces about being myself.

But if being yourself doesn't involve sharing yourself with others than you aren't really anything to anyone other than yourself, that seems kind of sad to me personally.

I guess i wrote this awhile ago honestly i think my writing back then is nowhere near as improved and thought out as it is now. I think i get what your saying. I wouldn't call myself strong or confident. But i am sure of who i am yes. I believe to always tell the truth even if the truth can hurt its always better then telling someone bullshit.

I love this! It's refreshing to hear a young person say these things! So many want to be like eveyone else, copy everyone else. Being true to yourself is the most loving thing you can do for you. This has good rhymes. Unless it is necessary to the meaning of a poem, you want to be careful when using idioms, slang and mis-spellings. Most editors want spelling to be correct. Examples-emmotional, deffently.
Even if being you gets you in the s**t, don't stop being you!

Thanks for your kind review, iv never been great at spelling i know and most the time i dont care about a little spelling error here and there, but if i were to get it published i would have to fix that.
I dont plan to i dont love everything about myself infact im acctually quite bad when it comes to self confidence, but there's things about myself i love which i have in my poem. And at the end of the day im proud to be me.

this is a very great write sweety :) its so true everything you said.
the only thing i don't like in a way is how u say things without thinking and where you are i could get bashed :( but i will still never change a thing about you. The honest part is one of the best things in you because i know you will never lie to me :)
