At the start life was beautiful like a rose

But man was vengeful so his heart froze

The Garden of Eden was consumed by weeds

As society nurtured their self-indulgent needs

Time traveled on and this only grew worse

Man was becoming his own disastrous curse

Drawing this plastic illusion to the extreme

Ignoring the nightmare that became of the dream

They floated in a sea of never ending space

Ignorantly believing they were the only race

And because man couldn’t be fully convinced

Disease became rampant spread by ignorance

So consider what we see everyday on TV

Then realize what we look like to the galaxy

I’m sure the word is out about this deadly planet

And the inhabitants here who continually damn it
