Impressions

A Chapter by flaneur
"

A part of the writer travels with every reader.

"

My thoughts are shed
where others tread,
when I bare my soul
with sidewalk chalk.

Trampling shoes
bruise pastel hues
that outline my body
of concrete verse.

But as they stroll,
dust stains the sole"
lifting passages
from graffiti sonnets.

Taken in strides,
these words hitch rides
and scatter to new climes"
until worn down by time.

I think it's brilliant. Very unique, very different, and it brings its point across easily and beautifully.
