Boy, Girl

Boy, Girl

A Poem by franzesty

Boy girl, boy girl - that’s the ticket.
Didactic tactics will, ‘guide’, us.
Lack of representation, insidiously we’re trapped;
A box, within a closet, within a cage - boy, girl,
boy, girl.

Over compensation, moral obliteration,
reckless abandon we scream.
Tempestuous storms rage unseen in a wide sea
and trials of character transpire.
‘Boy, girl!’ the court’s verdict is clear,
your feckless desires are poison.

I’ll drink to that good man,
my thirst will be quenched with my sin,
I don’t give a f**k about your caustic commandments,
the rancorous manner of men can go to hell with me.

fiery and interesting...

we are who we are...and what we are...and society can not mold us into what they want...

closets are suffocating....and should only be to hang clothes ...and for storage...but not for keeping spirits and beings caged to a norm.
